With many of us struggling to find festive fun that isn’t impacted by lockdown or social distancing guidelines, at your request we’ve put together a collection of the best roads/homes to see some wonderful outdoor Christmas light displays.
Why not take a twilight stroll around your local area and see which ones you can spot? Or alternatively, take a drive and conduct your own festive light trail with the family; essential for instilling festive cheer!
Bulkington Avenue in Worthing has a beautiful, impressive and festive display illuminating the street.
The infamous Thatched Cottage in Sea Avenue in Rustington are once again raising money for Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice with their incredible festive offering which is renowned in and around the locality.
If you’re in the Broadwater area, the mini roundabout area is a festive delight for the whole family, so as soon as darkness descends head out in search of some festive cheer! A little further down you’ll find Congreve Road has made a fantastic effort this year, and we’re noticing a few more houses popping up in Sheridan Road too.
Highdown Drive in Littlehampton have also made a sterling effort with their outdoor decorations this year, so a casual stroll/drive along will be sure to raise even the biggest Grinch’s Christmas spirits! If you are over that way, pop over to Paterson Wilson Road as well as Toddington Lane; it’s their first year of doing a display and they have put on an incredible light show to music, 4-9pm every day to raise money for Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice.
Slightly further afield, but Stoney Lane in Shoreham reportedly has an array of festive offerings as well as the Holmbush Roundabout area now illuminated.
Another bumper display raising money for charity in these unprecedented times is Saxifrage Way (opposite West Worthing Tennis Club off of Titnore Lane) who have unveiled their latest display this week!
There are many other notorious displays within our local area that normally offer a festive delight, but some haven’t been unveiled as yet but it’s worth also keeping an eye on the Sea Lane area in Goring as December fast approaches!
If you see/hear of any more Christmas spectacular displays, do let us know in the comments below and we will update our list!
