A firm favourite with so many families in and around Worthing has to be the amazing Ferring Country Centre.

Ferring Country Centre is a local, independent charity providing training and work experience for people with learning disabilities in the heart of Ferring.

Ferring Country Centre is home to a stunning garden centre, a riding therapy unit, using horses for therapy,  Dales Farm where you can get up close and personal to the animals that live on the farm and the Rangers Café where you can grab a bite to eat and a hot drink as well as an amazing soft play area!

Ferring Country Centre really does have it all! They even have their own accessible play park too, suitable for wheelchair users.

Ferring Country Centre is open 7 days a week to the general public, you will need to book your tickets to Dales Farm in advance (an absolute steal at £3.50 with under 2s free) and your ticket to the farm is inclusive of use of the play park too.

Post-Covid, Ferring Country Centre are now re-opening the riding therapy unit and offering riding lessons offering group and private lessons for anyone over 4 years of age.

Ferring Country Centre are Council licenced and BHS Approved with BHS qualified instructors. All rides will be subject to Covid guidelines moving forward.

If you are interested in the Day Service that Ferring Country Centre offers; sessions are available on a full or half day basis, with facilities including two classrooms, disabled toilets, full hoisting equipment, a changing bed and wet room, an IT suite and a sensory room.  Activities provided  are designed to encourage users to manage their difficulties and improve their social, communication and life skills.  Support is tailored to each individual, and is based on what they want to achieve. Offering both group support and one-to-one individual support. These sessions are offered on an assessed basis to suit the needs of the user.
